In a swimming pool area, there is a dantherm unit supplying cool and fresh air , the filters are regularly cleaned or changed, my question is, how regularly does the actual ductwork have to be cleaned? thank you in advance!

My only knowledge if with duct work in kitchens a general rule of thumb is yearly due to fat grease building up and potential fire hazard. as for ducting supplying fresh air to pools i would have thought no cleaning was required as you shouldn't have a fire risk. unless there is some form of bacterial issue but i would have thought unlikely. at my old company we had a large air-handling units with miles of ducting and i don't recall these ever been cleaned.
