I'm in the middle of writing a risk assessment and recomending that products that may react should be disposed via different containers. I'm thinking of flamable liquids and oxidisers and products like teak oil but can't remember if there is a group name for stuff that goes woof on it's own. Any ideas or should I just classify them POL's

When a man says "WOOF", he means "WOOF". According to Leslie Phillips, anyhow.

Hi Jane, No, it's not one of those. I've just looked that up and what I'm thinking of is more along the lines of oily rags

If you mean the tendency for oily rags to spontaneously combust, then you do mean pyrophoric. What is a POL by the way?
