hi all can anyone recommend a good training course and provider for a manual handling of people? thanks in advance Matt

Have you tried the major first aid organisations such as St John Ambulance - they do courses for moving and handling people, suitable for carers etc.

Have a look at HME ( www.hme-limited.com ) whom we use to train all ur Care staff. Adrian

I would also second HME. I went to an HSE training day for LA inspectors last year at which HME presented, and I was very impressed by them.
