Hello everyone
I am currently working as a Health & Safety manager within the construction industry
I would like to achieve some sort of training for environmental and as such gain a recognised certificate
Anyone got a good course details or experience of a good course that they would recommend
My budget is not great

Alan ,
In a similiar position as yourself. I took the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management towards end of 2009. It's level 3 so a good grounding in the subject and your practical can be based around your own workplace so that could be useful in years to come. I think it cost £650 and comprises of 4 days study and 1/2 day for a 2 hour exam , which in my case flew in. Best of luck whatever you go for, CARRICKMAN

Just finished the core modules in Integrated Environmental Management with Bath Uni (google) Found it reasonably priced. The course by distance learning was pretty good and it satisfies the requirements for AIEMA membership. Not everyones cup of tea but it did me the world of good.... Rgs

Try SHEILDS they have a good range of distance learning. I found them very professional. Distance learning prices are very reasonable compared to others. I did not get on with RRC when I carried out the NEBOSH environmental certificate. Firstly the exam location was a shambles and during the course I found they took a long time to respond to questions if they did at all. Exams I believe are in Hull so to far for me to travel.

I've previously undertaking the IEMA certificate through EEF, which I found both very useful and cost effective
