I have recently had an audit completed on the construction phase plan of a current project which has been running a few month, numerous problems have been ongoing. However the auditor is asking for the process and procedures from the main company IMS manual to be included a couple of examples are, what is the company risk assessment process and show the link in the plan rather than just the project process. example if company process for risk assessment is abc 123 he wants that in that actual number in the plan, similar with Coshh 123 abc, working at heights, lifting operations etc, again we cover all these items specifically in the plan for the project as to how we will manage and control them. Hope you can understand what I mean is he correct, all our documents are available in files onsite and readily available for the contractors or any one else to view at any time

What the auditor is seeing is that the CPP does not appear to link into the Company Management System Bob

Bang on Bob; the auditor is looking at the schematics and formal processes not the quality of the actual MS. Cheers Gaz

It is part of the Certuification requirement of your management system so if you choose to ignore and lose certification that is your choice. Bob
