Dear All, I am working for an infrastructure construction company involved in road constructions activities in UAE. The local traffic authorities have come up with a requirement from us to form a 'Crisis Management Team' who will be responsible for mobilising and rescuing during any traffic accidents immediately outside the boundaries of our site, so that timely action can be taken. They want us to produce an 'Traffic Emergency Plan' to cater for this function. Can anyone give me some inputs on it or a sample or template to build up a plan? Regards, Prads

Hi Prads, Like any emergency plan you will be required to detail the step by step procedures that must be followed in the event of a specific type of emergency, ie, bomb threat, fatality, structural failure, traffic accident etc. You must also clearly detail each of your crisis management teams responsibilities and the procedures that they must follow. You will also need to consider, access for emergency vehicles, traffic flow, communication between crisis team members, escalation of the situation etc. I have a set of crisis management procedures that I could email you if you pm me, you could use this as a starting point. Hope this helps. Paul
