Ummmm I haven't got a clue what you are talking about Katie. I am undoubtledly being a bit thick. Can anyone enlighten me as to what 'the safety index of a company' is????

I imagined it referred to a score assigned for safety performance when selecting contractors - and that you could calculate it any way you liked.

CHaSpi perhaps? See: http://www.hse.gov.uk/co...ity/performanceindex.htm In a slightly different context, "safety index" is used in other parts of the world to test the resilience of a facility (e.g. hospital) to natural disaster
