Can anyone advise on any regulations or guidance about how long you're allowed to work in a chilled work area before your entitled to a break. Definition of chilled being about 5 - 6 degrees C.

HSE has some useful guidance ref working in cold rooms: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg244.pdf http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/fis03.pdf Breaks are one of the controls – but the frequency is not specified. Risk assessment – using the controls you have in place should point you in the right direction of frequency.
