Hi Guys, I'm trying to find some guidance regarding minimum standards for flexible pipes used to transport chemicals from IBC unit to the a main section of pipework. We have a number of IBCs feeding into stainless steel pipework throughout the site. They carry caustic and acids. We do not have a standard for hoses or connections that must be used and i'm wondering is there any colour coding and EN or BS standard pipework that should only be used? Would appreciate some help if possible. I have already connect the chemical supplier for advise but currently a bit slow in responding. Cheers

Hi, I think it used to be BS 1710, not sure if that is still current – following links might help: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/l64.pdf http://www.identotape.co...nto_tape_colourchart.htm Regards Steve
