The Fire and Rescue Services (NI) Order 2006, which comes into effect on 15 November 2010, will change the way fire safety will be enforced in Northern Ireland From what I have read so far, it looks, smells and feels very similar to the RR(FS)O 2005. There are a number of changes to wording (The RRO's 'Responsible Person' is now known as the 'Appropriate Person' in NI). I will be reading the entire document from cover to cover when my paper copy arrives (Lucky me!), but does anyone here know if there are significant changes when compared to the RRO and Scottish versions of the legislation?? (or point me to somewhere on the web where such differences are listed or discussed) Thanks
