Hi, would you let me know of a competent speaker on Bariatric patient handling. IOSH Ireland Healthcare section would be interested in hosting a workshop on this topic and we would like to invite a compentent speaker.

Hi Tom, Not sure if I am of any help but this was my topic for my research project for my recent MSc in H&S that I completed at Loughborough University last year. I also have a manual handling advisor that works with me at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital who has a good understanding of the practical aspects of bariatric handling on a day to day basis including the mortuary situation as well as the wards and departments.
