I have been asked how long should a visitor book be kept as a record and why?

I had some use from a visitors' book some months after the visit when the question arose of how thorough a series of inspections could have been - we wanted to see how long the contractor had been on site.

I also used visitors book when adding hours up for my accident scores (end of every month) Also used as Kate stated for contractors coming onto site for example rat man After that I removed saved for one year and then got rid of did not need it again

You could consider keeping it for 3+ years should someone put a claim in, due to the statute of limitations.
