Depends if you are looking through the glass apertures or the frame and door.
In seriousness though NO, if you are talking about between the door and frame. Are they designated fire doors though?, or like in many instances fire doors are purchased and used for their robustness in every day use.

I believe that a gap of 3mm is allowed between the door and the frame and no more than 5mm at the bottom. If they are Fire Doors, they should have the combined Intumescent Strips in the leading edge and top and Cold Smoke Seals in place to prevent smoke spread.

Sean, E Mail the British Woodworking Federation @ firedoors@bwf.org.uk and ask for a free gap tester. Really handy bit of kit that you can use to check the gap size, details what should be on the label etc, even has a mirror to see the label on the edge of the door.

Brett, thanks for your reply, these are genuine internal fire doors that lead out to the stairwell, I have noticed that when the doors are closed I can clearly see daylight between them, I was going to report it to the landlord of the building but wanted to make sure I was correct in my opinion before doing so.

Sean,
A fire door or doorset, would have been manufactured to the requirements of a fire assessment report.
When you buy a fire door, the fire certificate is only valid if the door is installed in accordance with the requirements of fire certification report, this will include the correct door frame, ironmongery, margins (gaps between doors & frames) etc etc..
