Good evening all, Would anyone have a tool box talk based on the safe use of ladders that they would kindly let me have a look at ? Regards Tony

anthony, Why don't you go to the HSE website and download the pdf's of indg401, indg402, indg405? It's all there. If you are really lazy you can cut'n'paste the paragraphs of text into a word doc or Powerpoint, add a few photos and diagrams (yes you can get those if you google).

Good morning all, The engineering operatives who are the main users of ladders have had training in the safe use of ladders but rather than give this to all our production operators (who only use ladders in exceptional circumstances),I thought that conducting a tool box talk on the subject would be sufficient to enable them to use a ladder if they were required to. Tony, I should also have included indg403 which is titled 'Toolbox Talk'. At work all ladder users should have some training/instruction. For your production operators, put an appropriate level of detail into your toolbox talk, using a specimen ladder, and record the session as training. JohnW
