Please remember to wash your hands after preparing/handling chillies, a friend of mine has had a very painful experience (eye watering!!) after not following this step.

I was at a Christmas table where some people had chilles.
One person rimmed the wine\beer\spirit glasses of those who disapeared to toilet\ cigarette \powder nose etc. Could not believe their reactions lol.

Glad I did not leave table.

Financial Director of the previous company i worked for rubbed his face after cutting some whilst cooking. Came in the next day looking like he'd been ten rounds with Mike Tyson.

It is not just chillies - An aquaintance of mine had a sore back and rubbed some well known 'muscle warming' cream on the sore bit before he got into bed - omitting/forgetting to wash his hands - the consequences of which I am sure you can imagine!!!

It's not just cream as well.

I strained my groin quite a few years ago and decided to spray it with a heat treatment. I had covered all of my "bits" from the spray. When I moved to adjust my position my hand slipped and exposed a very sensitive part of my anatomy to the spray. I thought “Any second now this is going to really hurt”... it did.

Apparently lemon juice removes the painful stuff. I use fairy liquid.

Remember in my football days there was always someone caught out in the dressing room by having their 'boxers' given a subtle treatment of 'deep heat' whilst they were in the shower !!!

Usually ended up standing at the bar like John Wayne!!! Ouch!!! :-)
