I am looking for clarification on H3BO3.

My understanding is that this is the chemical formula for Boric Acid (Cas no. 10043-35-3)

I have an MSDS which shows the WEL as 10 mg / m3, yet when I look at EH40 Table 1 (2007 consolidated version) I cannot identify this product on the table.

Am I missing something really obvious or is the MSDS incorrect? I have spent a considerable time yesterday researching to no avail hence the question!!

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Remember that by default almost any dust that can be inhaled has a WEL of 10 mg/m3.

See http://www.hse.gov.uk/coshh/detail/substances.htm

So the MSDS is correct.

Does your MSDS also identify the product as a Cat 2 reproductive hazard?
