As only small quantities of flammable aerosol cans should be stored within a building, what is classified as small? I need to do an assessment with regards to introducing new storage facilities of these cans. We hold approximately 100 x 400ml cans at any one time.

Have you tried:

http://www.bama.co.uk/pd...il%20Storage%20Guide.pdf

It offers guidance for storage for retail premises which could have similar or greater quantities than you stated. We use plently of liquid solvenst an 50 litres is about the max we aim for so 100 x 400ml is comparable. As long you can justify the ammount stored and you follow the above guidance you cant go far wrong, assuming you are considering the DSEA regs.
