Does anyone have this book? Can you recommend it?

It was recommended that I purchase the book following a recent DSEAR training course. I just want to make sure its worth the money before I pay the £75. Its a lot of money to find out its not worth it.

Do you have an ISBN number for the book?

Had a quick look on Amazon and couldn't see it. Sometimes the Marketplace sellers will have a good price on a new or used copy.

Also have a look at www.abebooks.co.uk - site for book dealers with many specialising in text books.

Amazon returned around 60 titles covering this specific area so there seems to be plenty of choice if you have other titles on the recommended reading list.

Found it on Amazon now. Free delivery and £71.25 so not a huge saving.

ISBN 13 no is 978-0852952580

Unfortunately no reviews.

Have Cox, Lees & Ang. However, I would suggest that electrical installations in hazardous areas by A McMillan (especially Chapter 4) would be of more use to you.

I believe I read it some time ago and, if I'm correct, it was advocating a new and technically better-founded approach to hazardous area dimensioning. However, I don't think the methodology is easy to apply during a typical design process, or subsequently - and none of the accepted standards have subsequently changed as a result.

Hope I'm recalling the book correctly, and that this helps.
