Hi All, I'm wanting to improve my knowledge of electrical works and electrical safety as i'm concerned my knowledge is not strong enough and i'm wanting to revise the sites management procedure and permit to work for electrical works as the ones i have inherited at my site are very poor. Does anyone know of a good course for someone with limited experience or knowledge in this area? Cheers,

Try your local college - take a city & guilds or something similar and read the IEE regs. And, most importantly; only update such stuff alongside and with the electricians and not on your own!

safetyman, Try CIBSE & their Mid Career College. They run electrical safety courses for non electrical personnel. Hope this post is OK as far as forum rules go!
