Colleagues - in keeping with a lot of other both public and private organisations we are subject to an extensive management review and part of this is looking at the current Agenda for Change pay bands that existing H&S and Fire Safety staff are currently on - obviously with a view to trying to save money. The proposed new bandings are (it is alleged) based on "similar" bandings in other NHS Trusts. It would be very helpful to have an indication what AfC pay bands colleagues are currently on and what the job role is. By the way this is primarily for London & South East but others in the rest of the country would also be helpful. In anticipation.

Hi I was Band 7 in the Manchester area but I managed the dept and had non clinical risk as part of my role. Other people in this area were either 6 or even 8. If you need to defend your present banding then get hold of the NHS that was issued to help with banding ( Sorry cant help with a copy as I have now left the NHS) JohnC
