An acquaintance of mine has asked me to provide a quote for the provision of health and safety services for a small project which falls under notifiable CDM Regs - a new build 3/4 bedroom house. The real issue is the company are acting as the project management team but they appear to have little idea of the duties and responsibilities under the CDM Regs. They have also asked me to be the CDM-C and to provide a CPP etc. I have never acted as the CDM-C previously, but the task does not seem too onerous for a smallish project.

Obviously there some issues about a conflict of interest, pricing for services and whether it will be worth the aggravation I can feel coming my way. The work would be handy as things are a bit quite at present. Interested in your views on the above. Cheers.
