Are people being serious here or is this the Friday 'lets have a laugh' post. Teach people to cross the road, use the green cross code, come on no wonder H&S is a laughing stock. I agree if it is on your site having a traffic plan but your talking about a main road. Why not train someone as a lolly pop man and have them cross the little darlings over the road or get the council to put in speed bumps, crossing etc. Maybe if your company pays they will do this.

Maybe you could have a road safety day and take all employees outside and teach them to cross the road have them working in two's and hold hands as they cross, maybe this will call thier bluff and put an end to this.
If it was you who suggested to employees that they needed training to cross the road there would be a big outcry accusing you off not allowing them to use thier own common sense.

How do these people get to work do they live on the right side of the road so they never have to cross, how do they go about daily tasks?
