All,

Apologies if this has been asked before. I'm looking for a wind speed guide for working on scaffolding. I can't see a figure in BS EN 12811 or SG4 - can anyone help?

Alex

Alex, have you tried section 39.10 in Volume 2 of TG20:08, there is info in the there relating to wind forces on scaffolding, not sure if this is what you are looking for?

Thanks Grim - it's a max wind speed for working on the scaffold, not so much the wind loading. I have found a figure of 18m/s said to be from BS 5975 but can't put my hands on a copy to confirm.

Got the figures I was looking for in HSG33, pages 21-23.

Thanks anyway!
