Hi all,
I have a new client who amongst other H&S issues has a Sales/Customer support team living and operating in Europe; Germany, France, Portugal, Russia and Estonia to name but a few. The Client employs them through a Uk base and pays salary through Uk.
The client is rightly concerned about meeting their responsibilities towards their sales team particularly in terms of Policy and guidance for safe driving.
The overseas aspect is new to me does anyone have experience of this type of issue, if so could you advise me on handling the balance of Uk and local law.
My instinct is that if I advise them to have the same Policy and giudelines I would suggest to other clients for the Uk it should meet the legal minimum at the very least.
