Posted By Bernard Angus Jean, We have a very extensively used skateboard park here at Crawley. It is located behing the main Leisure Centre. I have been involved for some time with our LS Officer who is responsible for its development. To date we have had no accidents, other than very minor ones. We have been visited by many other LA who are proposing (apprehensively) to have a site. Go for it ! It reduces the risk of injury to members of the bublic on the streets. We have had a thousand through in a day ! Get a Design Plan done, use proper quality materials and undertake daily inspections to drive maintenance. You'll find the older kids will take inspection on board and report defects, which is to be encouraged as part of their development. Bernard
