I am doing a study on loadshifting machinery and would like to ask if anyone has the information about the safe operation guildelines, safety considerations, operation principles, or else for the following kinds of machines, which are commonly found in construction sites.

Have tried the Construction Industry Training Board, they operate the Plant operators competency certification scheme (CTA) and run training and assessment courses for Plant Operators.

Safety of Construction Plant (SIR53 Free Publication)

This is a survey of standards and accidents associated with earth moving machinery.

It describes accidents and dangerous occurences investigated by HSE over the period 1986 to 1996 on earth moving machinery. It identifies a number of common reasons for accidents and dangerous occurences, which may be linked to technological considerations. It also identifies International and European Standards and proposed European standards which give design requirements for individual types of machines and common technical issues which affect the safe use of a number of different machine types.
