I'm looking for a resource on violence to staff in the railway industry, prior to implementing a safety audit for a major train operating company. Any ideas? I've tried DETR, ASLEF and a few others but like many orgs, safety seems to be more about the end user and not staff!

Nothing definitive, but a search of www.google.com using "violence to railway staff" brought up 200 or so hits. Some of which looked promising

Try http://www.tssa.org.uk/news/violence.htm as a starter for 10.

You could try contacting the Suzy Lamplugh Trust (details not to hand) as they deal with all aspects of personal safety for both the public and employees.
Diana Lamplugh actually sits on a committee of Railtrack for railway personal safety.
