Posted By Andrew Powell I want to ensure the safety of engineers using a platform, raised by a C/B type forklift Truck. Specifically- edge protection. I have taken the guidelines for height of the first rail and spaces between from HSG 150, H&S in construction. Can someone confirm if the same rules apply please i.e. must all four sides have a barrier or can one side (for access) be secured using a chain only? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Posted By Phil Roberts Hi Andrew, I have emailed a copy of PM 28 'Working Platforms on Forklift Trucks' to your email address. It contains some pretty concise information regarding platforms. Phil
