Hi

I am in the process of doing a Fire Audit on a office that has two floors.

Does anybody know where I can find a audit questionairre to get some ideas of things thatI should be looking out for,to bring together with my own views.

The occupancy is never more than 5 persons at any one time.

Any help would be most welcome

Contact Bill Luttman on 01283 509175. He'll help I'm sure.

Note he is Operations Director of a Business and may want to make a charge

Have a look in the comprehensive list of fire sites in www.safety-directory.co.uk.there should be plenty to choose from in there.

Steve,

Definitive guide to Fire Safety is "Fire Safety - An employers guide" published by HSE and the Home Office. An excellent book with lots of practical advice, and all for about a tenner!

Hi Steve,

As others have said there are plenty of resources available to you if you want to carry out a fire safety check which is presumably what you mean.

You should not use the word "audit" unless you mean a "detailed and systematic examination of the fire safety management systems and fire precautions practice", Anything less than this kind of in-depth examination is either a risk assessment or a fire safety check.

Good luck.
