I am have to compile a safe working practices for the use of scalpels by our design team. They cannot use retractable blades, because they need to 'feel' the fabric and materials. Does anybody have any ideas on where I can obtain some information. Many thanks.

Hi Sharon,

Have you approached the supplier or manufacturer for information? I had a similar problem with "stanley" type knives and the manufacturer was able to provide basic training information and posters etc.
Perhaps try some of the "safety knife" company websites.

Regards

Marie.

Sharon,

Have you considered lightweight "kevlar" or similar material gloves for the non cutting hand.
