I have always been a supporter of IOSH and wondered if anyone on the Forum has actually ever made a request via email and phoned Head Office and had a response? I personally have made several phone calls and sent Emails to named people at IOSH but never seem to get a reply over quite simple Generic questions, not actually technical H&S points. As phone calls and Emails fail to illicit a response am wondering if the Forum is the best way?

I regularly e-mail and less often call. Never have a problem, perhaps because I usually know who is the relevant contact?

I mildly criticised Nebosh and received a very quick response and had my post removed , it made me question why I pay to be a member with no tangible benefit and at present have not renewed it and strongly considering not too !!

On the occasions that i have needed to contact IOSH, i've generally had a quick response, even if it's to advise that it will take a few days for a proper response.

The forum isn't a recognised communication channel - it is what it says - a chat forum. I can't understand why you are having problems, at least for holding reply. Perhaps explain to reception that you are having trouble. I am sure they will help.

scoen It totally depends on what is your generic question, in technical matter , any professional body would stand in safe side.. SHV

There is a delay in some cases, but most of the time the memberships teams are responding....never mind, nothing is perfect in the world... Regards, Pradeesh

When I had a problem with my account I emailed, someone got back to me very quickly and was very helpful in sorting the problem out. Of course people who have had a good experience are not as likely to mention it as those who have had a bad one.

What was your generic query? Maybe the forum could help? ATD
