I'm looking to create a large scale physical plan of accident/incident locations in our organisation in order to identify any potential hotspots..  I'd like to use the HSE accident categories (ie fire, fall from height, handling and burn, fracture, laceration etc).  I like to use stickers for these categories when I plot them on my plan.  Can anyone point me in the the direction of where I might find such stickers so that we can get some?   I could make my own but that's a bit weird and I'm fairly rubbish at that sort of thing as well!

Just get some stickers from WHSmiths and a red star for example may be a fire, a yellow circle a slip trip fall etc., as long as you create a 'key' it doesn't matter what you use.

Epidemiological Study is what I believe you are trying to conduct, but it is important that you look also at the Human Factors and Workplace Factors in each 'event' as this could generate hotspots within the organisation also, in identifying areas of potential improvement. These human and workplace factors will be determined from the underlying and root causation studies (via incident investigation) that you and your teams have conducted.
