Hi Eddy
No responses thus far hence my thoughts - do you really need a video for an induction?
Inductions are about providing the appropriate information and instruction in order operatives have the necessary knowledge of the work environment to carry out their tasks safely - inductions are not designed for training operatives in how to do the job.

For quarrying you can find this kind of thing at http://www.safequarry.com/Video-Library.aspx Safe Quarry is a fantastic tool for H&S resource sharing.

I have to say I agree with Ray - keep the induction short and simple is my motto don't go over complicating it with videos and gimmicks. People have so much information thrown at them in the first few days of a new job that its useless trying to impart anything other than the absolute essentials. From a one hour H&S induction you can only expect them to remember 2 or 3 key facts. I would say keep your induction under an hour and concentrate on the few key things you want them to remember. You can follow up with more training later when they have got over the shock of the new!
