Please advise we are changing  a boiler that is sited in a office,currently this office  with the old boiler does not have a fire door, as we are changing this boiler do we now need to add a fire door to this office now?

You will also need to check the office walls. No point in putting a fire door in, if the walls aren't also fire rated.

Its pretty much impossible to make any determination on an internet forum and when provided with such little information.

SNS has hit the nail on the head, if you have a fire risk assessment and it current and up to date - but not required the old boiler room to have a fire door, then perhaps no change is needed.

Note the 'perhaps'.

Not all boilers need to be behind fire resisting walls and doors, it really does depend on the layout of the premises, length of the travel distancaes, occupancy numbers and profile, and availaibiliy of means of escape - plus a whole lot more
