Hi all

I am looking to purchase a carbon fibre wheelchair ramp, 10ft long.

I have searched, and searched, and searched online but cannot find anyone that sells them this length.

Has anyone ever purchased one this length before?

Thanks in advance.

Carbon fibre will need a very deep pocket and will be a made to measure.  Aluminium and fibreglass are the two most commonly available materials.  I trust that your rise height is 6inches or less to achieve a gradient of 1:20 or less.  Most prefab ramps are often bought too short.

We have an aluminium ramp already but is proving a bit heavy for the users. The rise height is 50cm. I was under the impression that the minimum gradients were 1:6 for manual wheelchairs and 1:8 for electric wheelchairs.

Thanks
