Pregnant employee contracted to a different company

Hi All - need your help please. We have a pregnant employee who is contracted to a different company. Should they do the pregnancy risk assessment as we can't do remotely? Who is responsible for their safety ultimately? How do we manage this. Any links / advice greatly appreciated as can't seem to find anything on Barbour, IOSH or HSE regarding this.

Just enter the word 'Pregnant' into the search box on the HSE website, loads of links and advice come up.......

I think you need to collaborate with whoever is in control of the premises where she is working and do a joint assessment.

I al;ready tried, sadly doesn't give me what I need. Managing Contractors has been more informative and helpful even though it doesn't specifically mention pregnant contractors.

Sad to have just received a cold sales call from Penninsula who saw this post. Thought this is a members only area not a data base for companies..

You need to be searching for " New & Expectant Mothers" for information but if you haven't already covered off hazards risks that new & expectant mums could be exposed to in your general risk assessments then a joint combined effort would be best with their employer as they will need to allocate time off to attend appointments, adjustment in hours etc.
