Does anyone out there have any information on what PPE & RPE is acceptable for emergency works to a property where the occupants may have covid 19 ? We are not the medical profession and can't get surgical masks what we have is P3 filtered masks, tyvek suits, gloves, over shoes, goggles. We've gone to all the ususal sources but it's all understandably about the medical profession.

You need an experts advice, but my understanding of it is that a p2 filter would be sufficient - assuming proper face fit testing has been done.

Working withn the NHS our guidance to staff is either FFP3 or FFP2 - FFP3 will require face fit testing but FFP2 does not, however, guidance on how to fit and ensure use is adequate is obviously a must. We also suggest, gloves and aprons, handwashing and alcohol gel availability. hope this helps
