Hi

Does anyone know why this forum webpage is not using encryption? The main home page is HTTPS but when you go into discussion forum it changes to HTTP.

thanks Red

Because HTTPS wasn't a thing back in the days of 56K dial up modems - look beyond YAF.net and you will find the originators were Noah & Sons

Red, I used to complain on Reddit that their website was 'oribble' and then I discovered this website!

When I left U.W.E. in 2004, many company websites had slowly started to upgrade their e-commerce presence, this I thought would spread to all websites, unfortunately this has not happened.  IOSH is moving at a snails pace, much like the UK Governments different web portals.  Some of this is due to money, but I think a lot of it has to do with a false sense of pride in the product and a major reluctance to change.  Even the latest iteration is to say the least conservative.

AGREED.   I've typed a few posts and sent them only for them to disapear into the ether.  For most longer posts I tend to type them on Word and then copy paste them to this sorry state of a web page.

I’ve just remembered that a couple of months ago I received a malicious email which made it clear he had ‘my password’ and it was my IOSH website password (it was a long password but included the letters iosh) I changed it straight away, now thinking I should have told IOSH.
