Please tell me that "whitening skin" isn't what it sounds like. Has it really become that bad in India that people want to reject their culteral skin tone?

Oh, and reported obviously

Skin whitening products are unfortunately widely sold in many countries including the EU. Often products are prepared from substances banned/restricted/controlled under Cosmetic Products/REACH/BPR

In this weeks RAPEX report Alert number: A12/00861/20

Firstly I thought commercial advertising was something not permitted on this forum. Monitors?

Secondly, before I would even look at any skin care product from countries outside Europe I would want confirmation from the in writing (with supporting evidence) that the products had all been tested by an approved test house and met the requirements of the European cosmetics product regulations.

I think we can expect a flood of commercial posts, unless our reports are acted upon.

Chris - the good Captain has confirmed that he has already reported this to the team who are standing in for the non-existent Moderators.

Cpt Beaky - Unfortunately there is still a market for brown people who think their skin is the wrong colour. Recently featured in a story line on Corrie.

Quite odd really that this advert should be placed at a time when there are global demonstrations on the subject of Black Lives Matter.

But the charlatans don't care about such niceties.

thanks 1 user thanked peter gotch for this useful post.
