I have an interview for Transport for London and im doing a bit of research but I am stuck on one thing that Im hoping someone here may be able to help with. Transport for London comes under the Mayor of London's area but I'm trying to find out who would be the enforcement body for them. Would it be the traffic commissioner, Deparment for Transport or HSE. I have also been looking for specific guidance that is for busses but cannot find anything specifc, just for workplace transport. If anyone can help..much appreciated

Dee The enforcing authority will vary depending on the legislation that you are considering. HSE would be the enforcing authority for TfL activities outside its offices as regards the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and subordinate legislation "the relevant statutory provisions". The safety of buses comes under different legislation.

Are you asking who has oversight or who could, enforce? H&S could be HSE and the Local Authority. Transport vehicles could be police, DVSA, Traffic Commissioner (often via the DVsA), HSE, Local Authority
rail has its own body along with police - MET & BTP,
on the topic of commercial, vehicles underbTfL, don't forget the influence of FORS.
what I'd put forward is there is there are more than a singl entity, not forgetting that TfL has its own enforcement teams - presumably wher3 your heading.
