Hi all, We’ve got some work coming up in Greece and will look to procure some H&S support in country. We’ve got a PQQ and will work on translations etc. But I wondered if anyone had any occupational experience similar to this from a SHEQ Management perspective. I don’t suppose I’m expecting any shocks other than oddly local quirks but happy to hear. Specifically I’m interested in the tender submittal process for H&S consultants out there rather than contractor procurement process, but will take on board similarities where exact experiences can’t be given. The way I see, they’re part of the EU, and will have found some way to conform to the T&MWP Directive just like we do CDM. But again, happy to learn. D

Not sure how Greece has transposed TMCSD but as you are probably aware there are elements of the Directive that are NOT covered by CDM as they are covered by other legislation in GB/NI.

So, perhaps to keep you all on the same page, the starting point would be the Non Binding Guide found at

https://osha.europa.eu/en/legislation/guidelines/non-binding-guide-to-good-practice-for-understanding-and-implementing-directive-92-57-eec-on-the-implementation-of-minimum-safety-and-health-requirements-at-temporary-or-mobile-construction-sites

At a guess, Greece has probably transposed the requirement for a Co-ordinator for the pre-construction stage somewhat differently than the role of Principal Designer as set out in CDM 2015,
