We are looking at using an app to request all staff complete a quick health questionnaire before travelling to the office / site.

We are looking for something which is cost effective, not a comprehensive safety management software, but an app which all staff could access and log any potential COVID symptoms in preperation for our return to work.

Curious to see what other people are using to address this?

Thanks

One of our directors proposed something similar, but we decided against it pretty quickly - we concluded being an 'app' didn't actually achieve anything, and it was easier to say to people 'these are the symptoms, stay away if you have any (and tell your manager)'.

We decided that it was better to keep everything as simple as possible.  We told everyone the symptoms of coronavirus and said that if you have any symptoms don't come into work.  This has worked very well for us.

Which is why this govt is desparate to have a home-grown personal data theft app (AKA Covid 19 tracing app).

Go into a cafe, and fill-in the form (I refuse to).

In most, they also have WiFi, which happily record passing devices.

Not to mention the payment card info.

What a bunch of control-freaks.

Now kids are back at school. What chance 2-metre-separation with a hundred kids and parents trying to get into schools?

None. Took my g/son to his school on Monday, the queue, even without "separation" and with multiple entry points, was 100 metres long in each of 3 queues.

I'm assured that the English govern-ment[al] will have a working contact-tracing app by 2030 +-

Seriously; how many people would expect this lot to be able to plan a drinking session at a brewery?
