I would like to ask for some advice with regards to power washing. We are looking at directly employing staff to undertake long periods of power washing. whilst first investigations do not reveal that there is any significant vibration from the water passing through the equipment I would like to ask if anyone has any information and or background in the process.

You could contact INVC for help on this, but the pulse function on a power washer in my experience is the main source of vibration. Combine this with cold weather (circulation issues, gloves causing people to grip harder...etc) and you really need to be restricting times of people using this type of equipment.
You do not indicate how you have evaluated "first investigations do not reveal that there is any significant vibration from the water passing through the equipment". Is this information obtained by manufactures data or by actual measurement? If the former this information will be based on controlled tests in a lab and like manufactures given mpg for cars will be a bit optimistic!

Excellent reference material provided via YulKok.
Note the HSL report refers to ultra-high pressure (water blasting) - suggesting that common or garden pressure washers aren't an issue.
I'd still be providing decent gloves to keep hands warm and dry.

To know better and deep information about pressure washing and white finger, better consult the professionals. I knew that there is this professional power washers at the pressure washing in chicago il and based on experience, they are really knowledgable. But, thank you for sharing, I also hope that people will see professionals too and not just on relying on the internet.

How much higher pressure than the average PW are you looking at, there"ll be a limit that the hamd held nozzle will be made so you can at least try a demo piece and put some sensors on TTS check the vibration rate -I'd imagine it will be a constant unlike some other tools. Whilst HAVS needs looking at, perhaps the greater issue will be the Muscular injury where the arms have to keep resisting and flexing to the on/off pressure.
