Happy Monday all I am looking for an accident reporting software solution instead of good old spreadsheets. I was hoping there may be some recomendations on particular systems people may be using and general idea of costs involved. There is a possibility that we can build something that has more data integrity and suited to our other systems in house but would be good to compare external systems and see what prices they are.
Would anyone able to help with this search please?

Not sure on your exact requirements but you could alway try a low cost option of building something in MS forms yourslef which could be customised to suit your business and feeds into a spreadsheet in the background for further analysis.

Are you looking for a means of reporting the original incidents or a means to record and keep all the elements from initial reporting through investigations etc and to the final outcomes?
here are quite a few packages out there but how much you want to record within the system will dictate how much you want to spend and need it.

We are looking for all that really. At the moment we just have Word template forms emailed over and information held on a spreadsheet and reported from there. Ideally a solution that reports and automatically updates from the report would be ideal really. Also something that holds action plans and reminders and can run reports. There is a lot of administration in our current process which is not efficient.

Be carefull. Ihave seen many of these on line sytems which describe themselves as an accident book, however when pressed they will admit that it does not meet the requirements of an accident book as specified by the HSE
