God morning, I am looking at red light pull aways as part of a bigger project, I have been asked to source any case studies and was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direct direction.

Hi Dave

Think that most of the research probably looks at people not stopping at red lights rather than pulling away wehn the lights are still red.

If case studies have been done there might be links at the Department of Transport (or international equivalents) or TRL (Transport Research Laboratory).

I am guessing you are refering to a loading dock situation rather than a public road Red Light.

The HSE do a number of workplace transport case studies

Might be something there you can use.

Hi,

Had some personal investigation of drivers pulling aways with the FLT or Loader still in the back, not much help for a case study.

Some good info here:

Google: IOSH Loading dock safety guide

Best controls I have ever used are the Castell Salvo Locks (which you might already be locking at)

The above posts show the different interpretations of the same OP. Perhaps the OIP could offer a bit more info as to the scenario they are wanting to look at?
