Hi

Following a couple of recent non-compliances  with some of our contractors on site not fully adhereing to there RAMS for safe use of nail guns ( around eye/ear  protection )  the subject of training came up . Evidence of training in the safe use of nail guns .

Could i ask the forum members  within the construction field , what level of training do they require .

We normally have the manufacturer/supplier provide training on their tool at our site covering examination before use, preparation for use (loading, PPE, work area, substrates), fault finding & rectification, safe storage - the operator gets a wallet size card and we get a copy.
