Hi everyone, I am being asked to introduce ISO 45001 into our workplace, which senior management have commited to this, I am wondering if anyone has direct experience in what sort of percentage reduction in insurance premium cost there are if any? If I can, I will use this as part of my arsenal to get further resources

May I suggest that you contact your insurance company to ask them if they will reduce your premium if you get accreditation

Insurance costs only travel in one direction if you stay with the same provider. Reductions only occur when you switch provider. This year we have switched providers.

Tried that in the past, and told by insurance broker that having the standard does not make you any safer than you should be anyway due to laws and other requirements.

It's how you sell it to the brokers and how they then sell it to the insurers. Saying the Co has this that or the other accredidation means very little. But, selling how you work and operate to the broker in the right way, even if it is just a re-work or re-phrasing of the accreditations can make a difference. In some cases, simply not making an increase on a premuim, especially if you've ha a high experience year, is just like getting a discount.
