Neck Fans - Use of neck fans in very hot weather

Had a bit of  unique question over a device that I did not even know existed; If we can use the below neck fans on site, would it be acceptable from a safety perspective.

We work at height at times, so this would not be allowed due to the dropped object risk. But apart from that, can anyone see any other issues with this? The guys are wanting to wear it in very hot weather, sometimes reaching the higher end of 35+ degrees, working 12 hour shifts. We mainly do heavy lifting operations, so I cannot seeing it being 'caught' on anyhing.

Oxy - may be depends on the provenance.

Have you checked whatever the appropriate EN standard is, and are you confident that this conforms (rather than claiming to conform!).

Even the dropped object risk could be managed. Initially I would perhaps be more concerned about someone's hair getting entangled, but it might be that the power is sufficiently low that if this happened the device would just come to a stop.
