Good morning folks,

Could anybody assist me with a DSEAR template. I have been asked to look into medical gas storteage and use. I know that DSEAR does not apply to treatment rooms but i am unsure where to start. There are very small quantities so just want a head up on what could be coming down the road.

DSEAR does apply in medical treatment rooms except for Regulations 5(4)(c), 7 and 11. basically this means that there is no requirement for zoning  but everything else applies.

bigpub, the form you require is MOD form 5014 its in JSP 375, this is the most upto date i could lay my hands on 10/2020 version and thats providing that JSP375 has not been superceeded by the new Defence Code of practice (DCOP)

bigpub i've looked into this a bit more the 3 chapters that might help you are all JSP375,

Dangerous substances and explosive atmospheres volume 1 chapter 9

Manual handling volume 1 chapter 10

Management of hazardous substances volume 1 chapter 11

I don't know your backgriund, but firstly this is the domain of a chemical engineer...BCGA Gn13 is the guidance you need..but more importantly a competent person to do it..
