Hi Jasmeen,

Could you please give the Forum a quick insight into who are the Forum Moderators stated in Rule 2 and how they can be identified?

Thanks

Thanks Jasmeen

Please could you confirm whether any of the IOSH staff who are moderating the Forums meet the person specification set out in the Rules (as below)?

Our public discussion forums and the IOSH Members’ Forums are moderated by a team of approved Chartered Members who volunteer to act as Moderators.

Hi Jasmeen

Why all the messages about the forum rules when moderators are conspicuous by their absence-are they neglecting to read the rules themselves?

You might also answer [or ensure they are responded to] the questions asked by other posters or is that too much to ask?

According to the current unnecessary survey about values we are apparently going to include inclusivity and cooperation or is that just for external consideration?

Regards

Mike

PS do not take this personally as I`m certain it`s not your idea-whose? Perhaps they will step up to the plate

Hi Jasmeen [again]

Any chance of an answer to my post of some weeks ago?

Or is it necessary for me to try your one-up, to see if they will pop their head over the parapet to answer a very uncomplicated Q?

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

Apologies for the late reply. We are currently organising the moderation of the forums. As soon as we have more details, we will let you know.

Kind regards,

Hi Jasmeen

Nearly 3 months since you wrote that IOSH are "currently" organising moderation but we don't see much change.

Today one user has commented:

The first advert on this thread was posted in July 2020 and reported immediately...... but it is still showing.

What is the point of reporting this sort of post if the moderators don't remove it?

So, can you provide a "SMART" date for when we can expect to see some regular and effective moderation?

Jasmeen or "TeamIOSH"

On 17 September 2021 Jasmeen wrote on behalf of IOSH:

"Hi Mike,

Well, we are now past the traditional year and a day rule.

Will you NOW let us now the "more details" of how you have gone about "organising the moderation of the forums"?

....or provide a date as to when you can inform the users of these forums?
